El fenómeno de Super Mario Bros

Todo el mundo conoce a los famosos hermanos fontaneros. Mario y Luigi Bros son los protagonistas de un videojuego diseñado por Shigeru Miyamoto y producido por la prestigiosa empresa japonesa Nintendo, que vio la luz el 13 de septiembre de 1985. Desde entonces estos dos hermanos y sus intrépidas aventuras han entretenido a infinidad de generaciones con sus distintos videojuegos. 

Pero la cosa no queda ahí, no siendo suficiente con la infinidad de videojuegos que han protagonizado, ahora los hermanos han saltado a la gran pantalla con “Super Mario Bros: La Película”. De la mano de Aaron Horvath y Michael Jelenic, Mario Luigi, Peach, Toad e incluso Bowser llegan a nuestros cines para devolvernos a nuestra infancia. Porque sí, ¿quién no ha jugado alguna vez a alguno de sus innumerables videojuegos. 

La película está totalmente inspirada en los videojuegos, pero cuenta con una peculiaridad. En esta ocasión Peach no será la princesa en apuros que necesita ser rescatada por Mario. Siendo sinceros, en el siglo en el que estamos eso se queda un poco anticuado ¿no creen?. En esta aventura Mario y Luigi se adentran en un mundo mágico en el que se verán separados y Mario deberá emprender una gran y arriesgada aventura para encontrar a su hermano. En el viaje hará infinidad de amigos nuevos que le ayudarán a llegar hasta Luigi como Toad, el champiñón local, o la Princesa Peach, guerrera líder del Reino Champiñón que le enseñará a Mario unas cuantas lecciones de combate para combatir contra el temido Bowser.

Sin duda alguna la película está rompiendo las estadísticas. En menos de dos semanas ha destronado a “Frozen 2” y “Gru, Mi villano favorito” como la película de animación más taquillera de la historia consiguiendo recaudar 368 millones de dólares en su estreno mundial coronándose como el segundo mejor estreno de la historia del cine animado detrás de “Los Increíbles 2”. No podía esperarse menos de un fenómeno que ha marcado tantas generaciones con sus más de 160 videojuegos. 

La película es perfecta para todos los públicos. Tanto pequeños como mayores van a disfrutar de ella. Siempre viene bien desconectar de la rutina y la vida adulta y qué mejor que esta película para transportarnos de nuevo a nuestra infancia jugando en los recreativos, en nuestras casas, con amigos, con familia. Es perfecta para un plan en familia, con amigos, con pareja o incluso para disfrutarlo individualmente. 

Así que ya sabes, si no tienes plan para este fin de semana, puedes llevar a tus hijos, llama a tus amigos, insiste a tu novia para que te acompañe y aprovechad para disfrutar de esta gran película en el cine. Disfrutad de la experiencia de ver la película en el cine y acompaña a los hermanos Bros en  la gran pantalla, con el olor a palomitas, las butacas, el sonido envolvente por toda la sala. Una sensación que no podrás vivir en casa.

The Super Mario Bros phenomenon 

Everyone knows the famous plumber brothers. Mario and Luigi Bros are the protagonists of a video game designed by Shigeru Miyamoto and produced by the prestigious Japanese company Nintendo, which was released on 13 September 1985. Since then, these two brothers and their intrepid adventures have entertained countless generations with their different video games

But it doesn't stop there, not being enough with the infinity of videogames they have starred in, now the brothers have jumped to the big screen with “The Super Mario Bros. Movie". From the hand of Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic, Mario Luigi, Peach, Toad and even Bowser come to our cinemas to take us back to our childhood. Because yes, who hasn't played one of their countless video games at some time or another? 

The film is totally inspired by the videogames, but it has a peculiarity. This time Peach is not the princess in distress who needs to be rescued by Mario. To be honest, in this century that's a bit old-fashioned, don't you think? In this adventure Mario and Luigi enter a magical world where they are separated and Mario must embark on a great and risky adventure to find his brother. On the journey he will make lots of new friends who will help him reach Luigi, such as Toad, the local mushroom, or Princess Peach, the warrior leader of the Mushroom Kingdom who will teach Mario a few combat lessons to fight the dreaded Bowser. 

The film is undoubtedly breaking the statistics. In less than two weeks it has dethroned "Frozen 2" and “Despicable Me" as the highest-grossing animated film in history, grossing $368 million in its world premiere, making it the second highest-grossing animated film in history behind "The Incredibles 2". Nothing less could be expected from a phenomenon that has marked so many generations with its more than 160 video games. 

The film is perfect for all audiences. Both young and old will enjoy it. It is always good to disconnect from routine and adult life and what better than this film to transport us back to our childhood playing in the arcades, in our homes, with friends, with family. It is perfect for a family plan, with friends, with your partner or even to enjoy it individually. 

So now you know, if you don't have a plan for this weekend, you can take your kids, call your friends, insist your girlfriend to come with you and enjoy this great movie at the cinema. Enjoy the experience of watching the film in the cinema and accompany the Bros. on the big screen, with the smell of popcorn, the seats, the surround sound throughout the room. A sensation you won't be able to experience at home.
