Mejores estrenos que podemos esperar este verano en Netflix

Con el verano viene la playa, las altas temperaturas, y la piscina, pero este año, Netflix ha subido las apuestas con sus estrenos durante los tres meses más cálidos del año para que no salgamos de casa viendo estreno tras estreno. A continuación, comentaremos algunos de los más esperados:

Elite: el pasado viernes 18 de junio regresó una de las series de adolescentes más famosas del momento. Desde su debut hace un par de años, Elite se ha convertido en todo un fenómeno de masas, no solo en España si no internacionalmente, al nivel de series como La Casa de Papel. Con su cuarta temporada y la entrada de nuevos y explosivos personajes tenemos la receta perfecta para ocho capítulos llenos de amoríos, cotilleos y excesos. 

Lupin: con solo 5 capítulos, la serie francesa protagonizada por Omar Sy se convirtió en uno de los estrenos más importantes del año con su primera temporada. La serie es una reinterpretación modernizada de las novelas de folletín del ladrón y héroe Arsene Lupin y el 11 de junio se estrenó la segunda parte de esta temporada que promete ser más trepidante e inesperada que la primera. 

Atípico: por fin tenemos fecha de estreno de la nueva y última temporada de esta entrañable serie sobre el día a día de un joven con autismo. En sus anteriores temporadas hemos podido reír, llorar y sobre todo aprender con la historia de Sam y su familia. Desde su paso por el instituto a la universidad, en esta nueva temporada vamos a ver como Sam se independiza y vive por primera vez fuera de casa. Habrá que esperar hasta el 9 de Julio para vivir este último viaje, pero solo podemos decir que promete. 

Gunpowder Milkshake: aunque no sabemos mucho aún de esta película dirigida por Navot Papushado, el explosivo tráiler y reparto formado por Karen Gillan, Lena Headey y Carla Gugino son suficientes para dejarnos con muchas ganas. La cinta cuenta la historia de tres generaciones de mujeres que buscan venganza contra aquellos que les han herido en el pasado. Su estreno será el 14 de Julio en cines y en Netflix, entonces podremos comprobar si la película hace justicia a sus expectativas. 

Fear Street: esta impresionante trilogía de terror basada en los libros de R.L Stine, escritor de o sagas literarias como Pesadillas llegará a la plataforma de streaming el próximo 2 de Julio, y a partir de esa fecha estrenará, una a una las tres películas de la trilogía en tres semanas consecutivas. Sus tres entregas narraran la historia de Shadyside, un pueblo americano con un oscuro pasado que será revelado en cada una de las películas tituladas 1994, 1978, y 1966. Cada una de ellas contará lo ocurrido en el pueblo durante estas décadas respectivamente y lo hará con un reparto increíble formado por personajes como Maya Hawke y Sadie Sink de Stranger Things, o Gillian Jacobs de Love. 

Outer banks: esta serie ambientada en “Los Bancos Externos” de Carolina de Norte fue uno de los mayores estrenos del 2020, es por eso por lo que también fue la primera serie de grandes dimensiones de la plataforma que empezó a rodarse tras la pandemia. Su primera temporada giró en torno a una caza del tesoro protagonizadas por un grupo de jóvenes de los barrios pobres de esta zona de Carolina del Norte, y nos trajo todo lo que podíamos esperar de una ficción de aventuras con peleas, persecuciones en barco y mucho drama. De momento Netflix solo ha estrenado un pequeño teaser y su fecha de estreno el 30 de Julio, pero lo poco que hemos podido ver, viene apuntando maneras. 

Estos son solamente algunos de los títulos más comentados y esperados, pero realmente este verano Netflix va a estrenar algún título nuevo todas las semanas, poniéndose en cabeza con respecto al resto de plataformas de streaming y regalando a los espectadores un verano cargado de series, películas y contenido de todo tipo.

Elite: last Friday, June 18, one of the most famous teenage series of the moment returned. Since its debut a couple of years ago, Elite has become a mass phenomenon, not only in Spain but internationally, at the level of series like La Casa de Papel. With its fourth season and the entry of new and explosive characters, we have the perfect recipe for eight chapters full of love affairs, gossip, and excesses.

 

Lupin: with only five episodes, the French series starring Omar Sy became one of the most important premieres of the year with its first season. The series is a modernized reinterpretation of the serial novels of the thief and hero Arsene Lupine. On June 11 the second part of this season was released and promises to be more exciting and unexpected than the first.

 

Atypical: we finally have a release date for the new and final season of this endearing series about the day-to-day life of a young man with autism. In its previous seasons, we have been able to laugh, cry, and above all learn about the story of Sam and his family. From his time through high school to university, in this new season, we are going to see how Sam becomes independent and lives away from home for the first time. We will have to wait until July 9 to live this last trip, but we can only say that it promises a lot.

 

Gunpowder Milkshake: While we don't know much about this Navot Papushado-directed film yet, the explosive trailer and cast of Karen Gillan, Lena Headey, and Carla Gugino are enough to leave us wanting. The film tells the story of three generations of women who seek revenge against those who have hurt them in the past. Its premiere will be on July 14 in theaters and on Netflix, so we can see if the film does justice to its expectations.

 

Fear Street: this impressive horror trilogy based on the books by RL Stine, writer of literary sagas such as Nightmares, will arrive on the streaming platform on July 2, and from that date, it will premiere, one by one, the three films of the trilogy in three consecutive weeks. Its three installments will tell the story of Shadyside, an American town with a dark past that will be revealed in each of the films titled 1994, 1978, and 1966. Each of them will tell what happened in the town during these decades respectively and will do so with an incredible cast made up of characters such as Maya Hawke and Sadie Sink from Stranger Things, or Gillian Jacobs from Love.

 

Outer banks: this series set in "The Outer Banks" of North Carolina was one of the biggest premieres of 2020, which is why it was also the first large-scale series on the platform that began filming after the pandemic. Its first season revolved around a treasure hunt starring a group of young people from the poor neighborhoods of this area of ​​North Carolina, and it brought us everything we could expect from an adventure fiction with fights, boat chases, and much drama. At the moment Netflix has only released a small teaser and its release date on July 30, but the little we have been able to see is set to impress.
