El distribuidor, productor,
exhibidor y presidente de la Academia de Cine, Enrique González Macho, ha
afirmado este viernes en Santander que el cine español sigue teniendo
"mucho talento" pero el "problema" está en la parte
económica, advirtiendo que lo que sería "muy malo" es que la gente
del cine emigrara, "y ya hay mucha gente que está fuera, absorbida"
por otras industrias.
También ha denunciado que el apoyo de TVE al
cine español "no es suficiente", además de que es "su
obligación", y ha dicho que la desaparición de televisiones autonómicas no
"supone demasiada" pérdida para el cine español porque no han hecho
"casi nada por él". "Ponen tres veces al año 'Pretty Woman' pero
no 'Los santos inocentes'. No tiene mayor trascendencia", ha subrayado.
Ha afirmado que la nueva directora general de
Cine, la cántabra Susana de la Sierra, ha sido "una gran sorpresa
gratísima", la "mejor llegada de un director general de Cine",
aunque ha recordado que "hay gente por encima de ella".
Además, ha defendido que en la industria
artística deben ir unidos talento y dinero. "El problema es la parte
industrial, económica, pero se supera, son ciclos. Lo que sería más difícil es
regenerar el talento", ha opinado.
Sin embargo ha tachado de "injustas"
las críticas a TVE por producir series españolas, ya que generan riqueza e
inversión en el país, son las preferidas por el público y se exportan.
"Resines me contó que cuando llegó a Bulgaria le recibieron con un 'papamóvil',
un coche descubierto con el que recorrió las calles aclamado por el público.
Era famoso porque estaban emitiendo 'Los Serrano'", ha relatado. Pero ha
observado que es "más fácil comprar que fabricar, en cine como en
todo".
En cuanto a la piratería, un "tema muy
grave", ha considerado que la "mejor noticia" fue la detención
de Kim Schmitz, el dueño de Megaupload, cuyos lujos y estilo de vida ha
comparado con los del narcotraficante Pablo Escobar. También ha insistido en
que la remuneración de la propiedad intelectual es "la más justa"
porque es función de lo que vende. "Hay muy pocos sistemas con
compensaciones tan justas como las de los creadores", ha subrayado.

Por supuesto que si hay un problema, es económico, el dinero, la financiación siguen estando ahí, el problema es que hay que hacer un túnel mas profundo para llegar a ellos, pero ahí están. Además los nuevos soportes y formatos serán los que lleven esto adelante.
