“DIRECTORAS PIONERAS DEL CINE ESPAÑOL”

El pasado 1 de Junio tuvo lugar en la Torre de Lujanes, sede de la Real Sociedad Económica Matritense de amigos del país, la presentación del libro “Directoras pioneras del cine español, de los años veinte a los años sesenta”, de la mano de Assumpta Serna, editora y de Conchita Martínez Tejedor, autora.

Este libro es el primero que lanzan Assumpta Serna y Scott Cleverdon con su editorial First Team con el que inicial una colección, sin duda prometedora, de seis libros relacionados con el mundo audiovisual.

Durante la sesión, amenizada por dos actores de la fundación first team que nos interpretaron algunos pasajes del libro.

Este libro cuenta el legado de cuatro mujeres pioneras que trabajaron en el medio cinematográfico entre los años veinte y los años sesenta y que se enfrentaron a un nuevo medio de expresión, el cine. Estas mujeres son Helena Cortesina, Rosario Pi, Ana Mariscal y Margarita Alexandre.

Conchita quiere reflejar en el libro la realidad y la sociedad que cada una de estas mujeres les tocó vivir. Ella misma nos cuenta que es “Un libro fundamental para quien quiera tener una visión objetiva sobre los comienzos de nuestro cine y entender mejor la realidad y circunstancias de la vida y obra de estas grandes mujeres.

El lugar en el que se contextualiza a las directoras es la España en sus respectivas épocas, con sus diversos avatares políticos y haciendo un estudio de sus respectivos filmografías.

En los últimos años, la autora ha investigado la relación entre artes plásticas y género y entre este con la cinematografía, con el fin de poner de relieve la existencia de mujeres en los ámbitos artísticos no solo en la actualidad, sino en siglos anteriores.

Esta investigación pretende hacer justicia a unas mujeres valientes que decidieron ponerse tras la cámara en unas circunstancias que nos les iban a ser favorables.

Last June 1st took place in the Tower of Lujanes, home of the Real Madrid Economic Society of Friends of the country, the launch of "Directoras pioneras del cine español, de los años veinte a los años sesenta" hand Assumpta Serna, publisher and Conchita Martinez Tejedor, author.

Conchita wants in the book reflect reality and society that each of these women had to live. She tells us that it is "A fundamental for anyone who wants to have an objective view on the beginnings of our film and better understand the reality and circumstances of the life and work of these great women book.
