Estoy hablando de la “Proyección infernal II: Maratón de cine de terror” que
Fnac tiene organizado para celebrar como es debido uno de los día más
terroríficos del año, Halloween.
Aunque la fiesta en origen tenía otra historia y significado, además de
pertenecer a otra cultura, hoy se considera una fiesta donde el misterio, el
miedo y brujería toman poder; entonces porque no animarse con una buena
película de los años sesenta con La
Máscara Del Demonio de Mario
Bava, un film que se inspira a un relato del escritor ruso Nikolai Gogol
llamado "El Viyi" y que destaca sobre todo por la fotografía. A
continuación se proyectará 28 Días Después
de Danny Boyle, con la historia un poco convencional de un potente virus que se
extiende por toda Gran Bretaña y que produce efectos terroríficos en los
afectados tanto que en 28 días de epidemia solo quedan pocas personas; Arrástrame al Infierno de Sam Raimi, en la que una
trabajadora sufre una maldición que convierte su vida en un infierno al ser
acosada por un espíritu maligno y donde el director vuelve a sus raíces de
terror sobrenatural aunque no consigue superar su célebre película “Posesión
Infernal”; Häxan
la Brujería a través de los tiempos de Benjamin Christensen, en la que se mezcla el documental con la
ficción para hacer un compendio sobre el mundo del ocultismo, de la magia negra
y de la brujería desde la Edad Media hasta llegar a una época más actual. El
maratón se concluye con Re-Animator
de Stuart Gordon,
en la que un científico busca descubrir la fórmula que pueda permitir reanimar
los muertos.
Se trata
de una selecta serie de películas, la mayoría en idioma original, que abarcan
varios argumentos e historias pero que tienen una sola finalidad la de provocar
terror, miedo y espanto en el día considerado entre los más importantes para
las brujas y brujos de todo
el mundo.
