XI Festival Internacional de Cine de Alicante

Esta edición abrió sus puertas el pasado 24 de Mayo, con una gala inaugural en el Auditorio de la Diputación de Alicante (ADDA), un acto presentado por Luis Larrodera. Ese día se entregaron diferentes premios, entre ellos: "Premio de Honor" a Goya Toledo, "Premio Ciudad de Alicante" como reconocimiento a su prometedora carrera cinematográfica a Hugo Silva y "Premio Lucentum" por su trayectoria profesional como director para Agustín Díaz Yanes. Este último señaló que los festivales son importantes y necesarios para la industria del cine, ya que son el medio a través del que se pueden ver películas que no se proyectan en las salas comerciales. 

En el caso de los largometrajes, la película de Ernesto de Nova Roldán y Fran Araújo, “El rayo”, se alzó con la Tesela de Oro al mejor largometraje en el undécimo Festival de Cine de Alicante por parte del Jurado Oficial del certamen. La cinta logró también el premio “Sergio Balseyro” a la mejor película que entrega el jurado de la crítica. Ambos jurados, coincidieron con el veredicto final y destacaron las siguientes palabras: "se trata de una película de gran profundidad humana que cuenta una historia real con autenticidad y naturalidad".

En la sección oficial de largometrajes el jurado concedió la Tesela de Plata a la mejor actriz a Aida Folch por su papel en "El amor no es lo que era", y la Tesela de Plata al mejor actor a Manuel Zarzo por "Blockbuster", esta última película ha recibido también la Tesela de Plata al Mejor Guión y, por último, la Tesela de Plata al mejor director ha sido para Ernesto de Nova Roldán y Fran Araújo por "El rayo".

 

El público ha podido expresar su opinión a través de sus votaciones tras asistir a las proyecciones de la sección oficial.  En este caso, el premio del público ha sido para "Dioses y Perros", la película del director David Marqués protagonizado por los actores Megan Montaner y Hugo Silva. 

La novedad de esta edición es el premio Alicante Cinema, donde se han disputado cinco largometrajes de cineastas alicantinos y finalmente la película ganadora fue "Working Progress" de Roland de Middel. En este apartado, se ha hecho una mención especial a "Operasaiones Espesiales" de Paco Soto.   

Durante esos días se proyectaron en diferentes salas y auditorios de la ciudad de Alicante distintos cortometrajes, como la proyección de cortos de animación, cortometrajes europeos y los cortometrajes a concurso. Obtuvo el premio al mejor cortometraje "La niña" de Alberto Carpintero, este corto, además se llevó el premio a mejor actriz para Macarena Gómez. También señalar el premio al mejor cortometraje de animación para "El edén" de Kiko” de Paco Gisbert, y la mención especial a los actores Enriqueta Carballeira y Juli Mira por "Última sesión”. 

El jurado internacional ha concedido el premio de la European Short Film Award al mejor cortometraje europeo a "Miruna", una cinta de origen polaco del director Piotr Sulkowski. 

En el Teatro Arniches tuvo lugar la gala de clausura, el pasado sábado, en la cual se entregaron todos los galardones.  Durante el evento, se rindió homenaje al actor Juan Diego, quién recibió el premio "A toda una vida" por su trayectoria profesional. Según el director del certamen, Vicente Seva: "es un premio merecidísimo, ya que Juan Diego demuestra en cada personaje su talento, profesionalidad y la experiencia que su dilatada carrera interpretativa le confiere".

XI Festival Internacional de Cine de Alicante

Both jurors agreed with the verdict and highlighted the following words: "it is a great human depth film that tells a true story with authenticity and naturalness."

In the official section of the feature films jury awarded the Silver Tesela Best Actress Aida Folch for her role in "Love is not what it was" and Tesela Best Actor Silver by Manuel Zarzo "Blockbuster" the latter film also received the Silver Tesela best Screenplay and, finally, the Tesela best Director Silver has been to Nova Ernesto Roldan and Fran Araújo by "Lightning".

 

The public could express their views through their feedback after attending the official projections section. In this case, the audience award was for "Gods and Dogs," film director David Marqués featuring actors Megan Montaner and Hugo Silva.

 

The novelty of this edition is the Alicante Cinema award, where they have played five feature films and filmmakers alicantinos finally winning film was "Working Progress" from Roland de Middel. In this section, has made a special mention of "Operasaiones espesiales" by Paco Soto.

The international jury awarded the prize of the European Short Film Award for the best European short film "Miruna" a source tape Polish director Piotr Sulkowski.

 

In the Theater Arniches the closing ceremony last Saturday, in which all took place awards were presented. During the event, paid tribute to the actor Juan Diego, who received the award "For a lifetime" for his career. According to Festival Director Vicente Seva:"is a well deserved award, as Juan Diego shows his talent in each character, professionalism and experience that his long acting career conferred."
