Bunker Fest, un encuentro de jovenes creadores.

Un festival en el que música, obras audiovisuales y artes plásticas confluyen, donde ocio y cultura se complementan estableciendo la ciudad de León como punto de encuentro. Esta es la propuesta de Bunker-145, la joven organización que emprendió el proyecto el pasado año y prepara ya su segunda edición, que tendrá lugar del 4 al 9 de julio en el Espacio Vías (León).

 

Más de cincuenta artistas independientes se dieron cita el año anterior y en esta ocasión no será para menos. Seis días en los que jóvenes creadores expondrán sus obras al público y se ofrecerá la posibilidad de participar en diferentes talleres relacionados con el mundo del arte. Cada noche será ambientada por actuaciones y conciertos de gran diversidad temática, desde danza contemporánea y acústicos acompañados del tradicional tapeo, hasta conciertos de grupos llegados de varias ciudades españolas para animar el ambiente en los pubs leoneses. Si en la edición anterior ofrecieron conciertos de artistas de la talla de La Habitación Roja o el gijonés Francisco Nixon, en esta ocasión cuentan con Amaro Ferreiro y apuestan por jóvenes talentos como Woolly Mammoth Rebellion, Supercadáver, Wasted Metaphor, Hustle & Bustle y Pool Wizards.

 

Sin embargo, no es ésta la única propuesta cultural de Bunker-145, cuya iniciativa Bunker Cinema Club, avalada por el programa Think Big de apoyo a jóvenes emprendedores, fomenta el reconocimiento del cine no comercial entre el público de una forma asequible a través de la proyección del “cine de lo oculto”.

 

Pequeños puntos de luz en este ocaso económico, cultural y social. Y sin duda propuestas innovadoras que deberían estar en la lista de imprescindibles de cualquier interesado en el arte, la música o el cine.

Bunker Fest , meeting of young artists

 

Music, audiovisual and plastic arts meet at this festival and they make leisure and culture be together. This is the suggestion of Bunker-145, a young organization that started this project last year. Now they’re planning the second edition, which will take place from 4 to 9 July. The meeting point is León (Spain).

 

More than fifty independent artists attended the festival last year and this time it won’t get worse. During six days young artist will show their works to the public. Also, people will be able to participate in different art workshops. At night there will be performances like contemporary dance and acoustic concerts. La Habitación Roja and Francisco Nixon were the previous edition’s guests. The second one counts on the presence of Amaro Ferreiro and some young bands such as Woolly Mammoth Rebellion, Supercadaver, Wasted Metaphor, Hustle & Bustle and Pool Wizards.

 

Bunker-145 has another project besides Bunker Fest. It’s “Bunker Cinema Club”, supported by Telefonica’s Think Big Plan. Bunker Cinema Club  is an initiative that attach importance to non-commercial cinema in a low-cost way.

 

These are points of brightness in the current economic, cultural and social crisis. If you’re interested in art, music and cinema, you definitely have to add these original activities to your calendar.
