BETTER CALL SAUL

Todos los seguidores de la droga azul más famosa de la televisión conocíamos que Breaking Bad tenía su final en su quinta temporada, pero la historia seguía con un spin-off, donde el protagonista sería el excéntrico abogado, Saul Goodman, interpretado por Bob Odenkirk, quién aparecía por primera vez en el octavo capítulo de la segunda temporada titulado, precisamente, Better Call Saul.

La serie se centrará en el personaje de Saul Goodman en los años antes de convertirse en el abogado de Walter White. Jonathan Banks, que dio vida al personaje de Michael "Mike" Ehrmantraut y que era investigador privado de Saul, también estará en el spin-off.

Poco se conoce por el momento sobre las tramas de la serie o los actores que la protagonizarán, pero estas semanas ha saltado la noticia de una posible nueva incorporación, el gran Aaron Paul que retomaría su papel de Jesse Pinkman. Tal vez su inclusión sea el primer paso para que la serie cuente entre su elenco con el protagonista de la desaparecida Breaking Bad, Bryan Cranston, el ganador del Globo de Oro y del Emmy a mejor actor por su papel de Walter White.

La ficción, al igual que Breaking Bad, estará dirigida por el creador Vince Gilligan y  Peter Gould, productor de la serie y co-creador del personaje.

Breaking Bad no es la única producción que tendrá una serie extraída de su trama. También tendrán su spin-off Cómo Conocí A Vuestra Madre y NCIS entre otras. Para el spin-off de The Walking Dead habrá que esperar un año más.

Better Call Saul se estrenará en noviembre de 2014, mientras tanto los "breaking-adictos" seguimos a la espera de que se vayan desvelando nuevos detalles acerca de su emisión y contenido.

Termino con una frase de Breaking Bad que se ha tatuado el actor Aaron Paul "No half measures”. La idea que transmite: nunca te quedes a medias. Si te dedicas a algo, debes hacerlo al cien por cien, con toda tu alma.

All followers of the most famous blue drug on television knew that Breaking Bad had its end in its fifth season, but the story would go on with a spin-off, where the protagonist would be the eccentric lawyer, Saul Goodman, played by Bob Odenkirk, who first appeared in the eighth episode of the second season titled, precisely, Better Call Saul.

The series will focus on the character of Saul Goodman in the years before becoming Walter White’s lawyer. Jonathan Banks, who gave life to the character of Michael "Mike" Ehrmantraut and was Saul’s private investigator, will also be in the spin-off.

Little is known yet about the plot or the actors, but this week we’ve heard the news of a possible new addition, the great Aaron Paul would resume his role as Jesse Pinkman. Perhaps his inclusion is the first step so that the series has among its cast the former star of Breaking Bad, Bryan Cranston, the winner of a Golden Globe and an Emmy for best actor for his role as Walter White.

The series, like Breaking Bad, will be directed by the creator Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould, series producer and co-creator of the character.

Breaking Bad is not the only production that will have a series made out of its plot.. Series like How I Met Your Mother  and NCIS will also have a spin-off, among others. We’ll have to wait another year for the spin-off of The Walking Dead .

Better Call Saul will be released in November 2014; meanwhile, the "breaking-addicted" are still waiting for new details about its broadcast and content.

I’d like to finish with a quote from Breaking Bad which the actor Aaron Paul has  tattooed on him "No half measures", meaning: if you dedicate yourself to something, do it one hundred percent, with all your soul.
